About Me

Lilianna Gimse is a versatile and flexible performer in the Columbia, Missouri area.

Lily recieved a Bachelor’s of Music in Performance at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Lily teaches private lessons both in-person and virtually. She has had multiple years of experience in teaching, specializing in inspiring young musicians. She has performed in Band, Orchestra, and Jazz ensembles both as a flutist and a pianist. She provides a flexible and catered private lesson plan for all ages and all types of learning.

Lily has performed and been a part of projects in the National Flute Association Conference, such as Julia Wolfe’s Oxygen project. Lily also joined the LGBTQ flute choir that performs at NFA, which provides a spotlight to LGBTQ composers and musicans. She was also a part of the Heartland Flute Community Choir as an invited group performance.

Lily Gimse has studied with Dr. Christine Beard and Rose Bishop and has participated in masterclasses by Lizzy Darling, Daniel Carlo, Keith Hanlon.
